Member. Feb 27, 2012. #1. Recently, I have to pull the hand lever down 3/4 of the way before it responds and rpms go up. It is not idling right when hand lever is completely up. J. Simple test: raise the 3-PT with a load attached like a plow or blade or mower -anything will work. Leave load fully raised in 'UP' position then shut down tractor and leave it up. Observe if the load drops and how fast it takes. A fully functional hydraulic system will keep a load in the raised position for months.
Where the cable hooks to the rock shaft there are is an about 1/4" diameter stainless shaft that the cable pushes about 3 inches into a stainless tube. It appears to have a full range of motion.
